From August 14 to 16, 2026, the 23rd China Water Forum was held in Harbin. With the theme “High-Quality Integration of Water Science and Industry,” the forum focused on frontier research in water science and major issues related to water resources security.

Among them, Luo Zhengbin delivered a presentation at the Young Scholars Forum entitled “Applicability Evaluation of Ecological Flow Determination Methods under Hydrological Alteration: A Case Study of the Xincun Hydrological Station on the Qi River.” The presentation focused on evaluating the applicability of different ecological flow determination methods under changing hydrological conditions.

Participation in the forum provided the students with a valuable platform for academic exchange and learning. It also helped them better understand current research frontiers, broaden their research perspectives, and gain useful experience for future scientific work.
