Prof. Liu visited the UK in September 2026 to attend the International Ecohydrology Conference. She reviewed global advances in ecohydrology and presented poster research investigating nutrient patterns in gate‑regulated rivers, receiving feedback from international colleagues to advance the work.
She also participated in an early‑career researcher workshop and visited ecohydrological field monitoring sites, learning from international practice in researcher training and field observation.
The visit brings new theoretical and methodological insights to support research, teaching and postgraduate training, benefiting disciplinary development at the School.
